The SwitchBlade has a multitude of uses. Use it to move rails and funboxes on a routine basis to keep the park fresh and exciting for riders. Terrain park maintenance is made easier. Simply move the feature, maintain the snow surface and reposition. The SwitchBlade can be used to haul equipment such as race gates, fencing, or scaffolding for special events. Use it to move snowmaking equipment such as fan guns or hose. One machine and one operator.
The wide spacing between the forks means the weight of the lifted object is ideally distributed . The rail hangs from the forks. The chance of tipping is greatly reduced. The forks are visible from inside the ParkBully cabin - viewable over the top of the blade. Because of the high pick point, receivers on rails and funboxes are always with the operator's view.
Finisher teeth on the blade bottom enable one pass back blading. It is not necessary to let the snow set up in order to finish with a tiller. The backblade teeth are spaced closer than conventional blading teeth. The tooth profile has a long taper. These two features allow the operator to place a final finish on an off load ramp, hit or wall with a simple back blade motion. One more example of the increased productivity of the SwitchBlade.
Rails are easily set in the snow using blace down pressure. Less likelihood of damge to equipment.
