Kassbohrer takes a system approach to personnel and material transport. Two sizes of cabins are available to transport people and equipment.
The crew cab can accomodate 4 persons while the full cab has a capacity of 8.
Side entry makes loading and unloading easier. The cabins are simply mounted on rear deck of the PistenBully.
PistenBully 100 with crew cabin
The cabin is constructed of fiberglass panels affixed to a steel frame. There are large panoramic windows and the interior walls are lined with a high quality, noise insulating, wear resistant fabric.
For extreme cold weather (-50 degrees F) a cabin designed specifically for use in the Antarctic is available with special order.
Each passenger seat folds up independently providing ample room for tools, test equipment or supplies. Each seat comes equipped with a safety belt.
The fullcab interior offers abundant legroom.
The heater for the cabin runs off diesel fuel. A smart feature on the heater is the independent fuel supply. The engine does not have to be running in order to heat the cabin interior.
A fiberglass boot connecting the cabin with the driver's cab is available on certain PistenBullys.
