It is power packed, versatile, nimble and speedy. It is a good choice for utility applications. Whether used as a maneuverable transport vehicle in inaccessible terrain or on snow covered mountains the PistenBully Canyon is at home on difficult terrain.
The Canyon is the smallest model in the PistenBully line. In agriculture and forestry, for service work in national parks, on scientific expeditions and in the public domain, the PistenBully Canyon is an exceptional all terrain transport vehicle. Equipped with a Volkswagen TDI turbocharged, aftercooled diesel engine the Canyon has good torque and power for hauling equipment but it thrifty on fuel as well burning as little as two gallons per hour.
Well thought out in detail and engineering, our sights are on the user. The cabin is ROPS certified to SAE J1040 standards. Vehicle control is with the semi-circular steering wheel. A directional switch and speed control potentiometer are positioned on the steering wheel for easy access. An optional joystick provides fast, easy operation of attachments.
Front working lights, brush guard and electric winch further enhance the Canyon's versatiltiy.
A varied choice of tracks makes the Canyon functional in both summer and winter . . .
1) Aluminum tracks provide light weight and maximum climbing in soft snow.
2) The multigrip tracks are best for use in dirt and rock. The steel cleats provide strength while the rubber lugs allow for fast transport on pavement without damage to the road surface.
3) The X track is an all round solution where its required to operate in both dirt and snow.
4) Steel tracks provide good traction in snow and ice and are durable over bare patches of dirt and rock.
The Canyon proves its capabilities on the streets of San Francisco grooming synthetic snow in advance for an automobile television commercial.
A strong, substantial chassis and subframe provide a functional platform from which attachments and specialized structures can be mounted.
