Some 17,200 visitors from all over the world gathered in Innsbruck, Austria to find out about the latest innovations in the winter service industries. The Interalpin trade show is a three day show held every other year and is one of the largest shows for the winter sports arena. Approximately 500 companies were represented at the show.
One of the main attractions was the Kässbohrer display and the PistenBullys contained there in. The latest PistenBully models were front and center for viewing by the largest crowd yet to attend the Interalpin (an increase of 1,200 visitors over the 2005 show).
The PistenBully 600 Polar was an instant hit. It is a no-holds-barred approach to power and technology. With 490 horsepower and over 1600 foot pounds of torque, the PistenBully 600 Polar is the most powerful snow groomer on the market. The 12.8 liter Mercedes Benz OM 460 LA engine meets Tier III emissions requirements while still being very economical in fuel consumption. In the coming season, the new PistenBully 600 Polar is set to hit the slopes all over the world.
The PistenBully Scout made its international debut at the Interalpin trade show. The Scout is manufactured and assembled in our Reno, Nevada production facilities. It features a lightweight design and can carry materials and manpower practically anywhere. The spacious, comfortable cabin offers plenty of room for up to five people. Tools and materials can be stowed on the large platform deck. The Scout is an ideal vehicle for transport to mountain huts and restaurants in the Alps.
Besides machines, the Kassbohrer exhibit featured genuine PistenBully replacement parts, update kits and even tools. Service specialists were on hand for those who wished to "talk shop".
