We aim for an integrated Service concept with the customer as an independent partner. A key factor in this concept is the sharing of technical knowledge and making that knowledge accessible. This applies to finding and ordering replacement parts as well. With the introduction of Kassbohrer’s new Electronic Parts List, spare parts for your late model PistenBully or BeachTech can now be conveniently accessed with your computer.
Kassbohrer All Terrain Vehicles, Inc. (KATV) took the opportunity to introduce the new Electronics Parts List at the fall service schools conducted throughout North America at the various branches and dealers. Those attending the service schools learned about the various features of the new integrated Electronic Parts List.
Built on CD, the proprietary software lets the user search for parts and place them in a shopping cart for ordering. It even allows one to make notes on screen and save these notes for referencing at a later date. Other features include the ability to search for parts either by number or description. Line drawings and schematics are navigable and can be magnified for easier viewing. A key element in the use of the Electronic Parts List is vehicle serial number. The user must have this number in order to access a parts listing. This is a good thing, though, for it ensures that the correct parts manual for that specific PistenBully or BeachTech is accessed.
KATV believes this new parts system will be especially helpful to owners of large PistenBully fleets. These fleets are typically populated with various models and varied model years. The vehicle manager and his staff will be able to access different models with one PistenBully / BeachTech Electronic Parts List.
