The PistenBully 100 can do so much - starting with the tracksetting tiller.The tiller itself is available in three (3) widths: 2.5 m, 2.8 m and 3.1 m. Two independent track setting pans are mounted on a cross bar that allows the pans to be moved closer or farther apart from one another. Functional in every detail. Good visibility in snow, ice and rain with the large front windshield. A two-speed parallel action front wiper and double wipers at the rear keep the glass clear. The semi-circular steering wheel is natural to operate. The switches and instrument displays are arranged in function groups, easy to reach and in the driver's direct field of view. The driver's seat is suspended with a large range of adjustable positions. A pleasant climate is in store for both operator and passenger thanks to a combined heating and fresh-air ventilation system with a powerful 3-speed blower. The PistenBully 100 is powered by the Mercedes-Benz OM 904 LA diesel engine. Economy and low exhaust emissions are features of this engine. It has an electronic management system that varies the fuel voume automatically matching the injection timing to specific atmospheric pressure and other parameters. This equates to high efficiency and at the same time low specific fuel consumption. The OM904LA has impressive torque. The power flow is smooth and continuous over the entire engine speed range. The hydrostatic transmission has constant output motors for economy, enormous thrust and a high maximum speed.
